Biography
Caz is a Sheffield based artist. Her recent works are mostly of people: either commissioned portraits or figurative images that explore human connectedness to nature (or distance from it).

2022 - 'Rise and Shine' shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London
2022 - 'Nature' exhibited in the Cupola Contemporary Gallery in 'Janus Revisited' exhibiton
2022 - 'Delight' sold via auction at the Cupola Contemporary Gallery. All proceeds went to Disaster Emergency Committee for the Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal
2021 - Filmed timelapse video showing the making of 'Nature' in charcoal and gold oil paint for new youtube channel
2021 - 'Delight' still life in oil made as part of tribute event 'Celebrating Richard Schmid' on website: https://www.richardschmidart.com
2020 - Portrait of Nicky Stopford included as part of Google Arts & Culture's 'Healthcare Heroes' permanent exhibition

2019 - Portrait accepted for permanent display at St. Christopher's Hospice, London
2017-2018 - Selected for Portrait of Distinction competition, Art in the Garden
2015-2016 - Commissioned as artist to set up volunteer run art groups throughout Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, NHS Trust
2015 - Designed and ran groups for NHS exhibition at John Lewis cafe, Sheffield
2013-2015 - Ran an art group for patients on a brain-injury unit as a volunteer, Northern General Hospital
